Meet Our Team

Lynn Hungate

- Owner, Instructor -

Lynn Stone Hungate holds a B.S. degree in Dance and a minor in Communications from James Madison University.  Her choreography has received regional and national awards from some of the most well-respected dance organizations in the country.  Many of her dancers have gone on to dance with nationally ranked college dance teams and professionally.

Brandi Holland

- Instructor -

Brandi Holland began dancing at the age of 5 at Ardell Stone School of Dancing.  Brandi is the backbone of our youth dance program.  She knows how to inspire lifelong interest in movement, learning, and dance.

 

Brandi is a Speech-Language Pathologist in Botetourt County Schools working with children in preschool to fifth grade. She is also an adjunct faculty at Radford University.

Cheyenne Severt

-  Instructor -

Cheyenne's dance resume has 16 years of training, starting at age 3. She became an assistant at the studio in middle school. Students love her kind and encouraging approach.  Whether coaching our ---competition teams or beginning dancers, she shares the same level of creativity and dedication to her students.

 

 At JMU, she earned her degree in Communications.

Reynu Wood

- Instructor -

A native of Cary, NC, Reynu Wood has danced her whole life. She recently relocated to Roanoke to dance with RBT as a performer.  She has also danced with such distinguished companies as Syracuse City Ballet, Miami City Ballet, and The Bolshoi Ballet Academy as a merit scholarship recipient.

 

She is also pursuing a degree in Business Administration and is thrilled to be an instructor at Ardell Stone School of Dancing.

Rachel Pennino

- Office Manager -

Rachel Pennino is the front line for our studio.  While knowing how to assist parents with studio business questions, being a 15-year dancer gives Rachael unique insights on what student dancers need.  From ponytail holders to a listening ear, she is there for your dancers.

 

Rachel has a BA from James Madison University.

Yes, dancing is fun.  But dance classes also teach your child ideas they can use for life; teamwork, confidence, fitness, discipline, and joy.  That's why we say "dance lessons are life lessons".
